My Story

I was born into a Muslim family in Iran to an atheist father and a semi-religious mother. I grew up in a challenging and stressful household, which made my youth and early adulthood filled with sadness and anxiety. Later on in early adulthood I entered into a difficult marriage and my circumstances got worse.

Like many women in similar situations, I contemplated for years to leave my toxic environment before finding enough courage to finally do so. Looking back to those days of anticipation, I can definitely say that moving on and being on my own has made me a happier and better person. Of course, the transition was painful at the time. But looking at how things turned out, I have no doubt that taking the risk of moving on and following my gut feelings has made all the difference in the world for me, and my son.

I was raised to focus on a material world and its demands, to obtain higher education, get married, and live happily ever after. So, I got my degree in Mathematics in Computer Science and worked as data analyst and taught computer programming. However, everything else in my life felt dull and stagnant.

After migrating to the United States, I was on a roll and thought I might as well keep going and do what I wanted to do for a career instead of what was expected of me. I just wanted more and more. So I kept going forward and can proudly share that I have been working as a Marriage and Family Therapist for 15 Years now.

I have always been a seeker, a wonderer, a sort of a person who questions everything and wants to know more about life and the meaning of being alive. Studying and looking into different religions such as Zoroastrian, Buddhism, Sufism, Christianity and Islam has occupied most of my free time for years. Although all of these teachings sounded wonderful and each opened a window to new ideas, none of them felt right for me as they did not satisfy my cravings for experiencing oneness with the Divine energy.

Two new discoveries have landed me much closer to the center of my spirituality and wholeness. At first, I came across the work of Dr. Terence Palmer and his research with schizophrenia. His modality and use of a medium with great results in dealing with his patients was so fascinating that not only did I try it myself, but I also made it part of my practice. The second wonder in my search came to me through my fascination with hypnotherapy and in the theory and practice of Delores Cannon, which resulted in my becoming a practitioner myself.

My current practices have brought me closer to my Higher Self and I feel more connected than ever with my guides. All that I have been through and all that I have found along the way have made me more compassionate and motivated to help others who are interested in tapping into their true self and find their meaning in life.

I understand each of us has our own journey of growth in this lifetime, so I am very respectful of my clients’ individual circumstances, struggles, identify issues, current functions and needs. I guide and assist my clients to understand the underlying issues of their discomfort and help them develop plans and strategies that serve their highest good on their journey to become whole.
